Chinese Healing

Chinese medicine has more than 2,000 years of history. It has many characteristics both in the understanding of the human body's physiology and pathology and in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Chinese medical theory is based on the belief that body is made up of channels of energy flow, known as "chi" in every moment. One of the basic pathogeneses of a disease is caused by the blockages of this energy flow.

Following is a brief explanation of the concepts of acupuncture, acupressure and herbs.
ACUPUNCTURE: Application of very fine disposable needles to the energy blocking points and removing the blockage.
ACUPRESSURE: Specific finger technique which helps locate the joints or soft tissue in place. It may stimulate the circulation of the vital energy
HERBS: Help the balance of the internal organs' functions, restoring the foundation of health.

Bringing the body back to normal stage of physiology can heal it. Chinese medicine does not cover up the symptom. It aims to find out the root cause of the illness. Chinese medicine is like a training process for the body, eg. energy circulation is improved so that the body can handle today's work and repair yesterday's damage. If the body's function is 10% better, the patient may feel 10% less pain. When the body functions normally like the good old days, then the patient may feel no syptoms. Be patient: Chronic illness take time to form and take time to recover.
